I'd be lying if I didn't say today is a little on the icy side. It has been raining on and off for two days and already I am beginning to see how this could be very taxing on the well being of a True Blue Aussie girl.
It's still fairly novel to feel the cold, but when you need to have long johns under trackie dacks and two jumpers and you are still considering more layers including gloves and beanie - you begin to loose confidence in your ability to survive a NZ Winter.
It has given me a firm desire to chop lots of wood today though. My enthusiasm driven by the will to live and also to get the circulation pumping in my limbs and to be able to feel them yet again. Needless to say I have had the fire going strong all day long.
Justin has arrived home duck less from the unsuccessful duck shooting vigil; with still quite a noticeable swagger from his hungover state and a crushed up bag of half eaten MacDonald's, he informs me that apparently he had a run in with Skerz's parents curtain. No more information at this time has been indulged as to the degree of carnage sustained by the said window fabric; mostly due to a lack of memory, and also because Justin has fallen into a comatic state and is now frightening the cats with his outrageously disturbing snoring which can probably be heard in Weber. I will keep you updated about the injured and innocent curtain; at this stage though one can only imagine that it is likely to be in a critical state and on life support. My deepest apologies and sympathy go out to Skerz's parents and on behalf of Justin I would just like to say that he WILL be paying for any damages out of his pocket money.
